Texts are fastest. Calls are warmest. Email's good for vaccination records or anything with attachments.
Fastest reply. Send a photo of your pup if their coat is in rough shape — I'll tell you what's realistic.
Open MessagesIf I don't pick up, I'm probably blow-drying a doodle. Leave a voicemail and I'll call back same day.

Compose emailInside the ring, no travel fee. Beyond it, $1/mi each way — happy to come to Matthews, Pineville, Mint Hill, Cornelius. Just text and we'll work it out.
Rabies, DHPP (distemper / parvo / hepatitis / parainfluenza), and Bordetella before the first visit. After that, just send updated records once a year. Just text or email a photo from your vet — done.
Even better — first impressions matter. We'll start with a slow Puppy First Groom (no clippers), focus on positive associations, and use treats + breaks generously. Many of my long-term clients started this way.
Mobile is genuinely better for anxious dogs — no other dogs, no kennel waits, you nearby. We'll do a 15-min phone consult before booking, plan a slow intro, and I'll never force progress. Worst case, a partial groom + a make-up visit free of charge.
For nervous dogs, absolutely — you can hop in the van or watch through the door. For most dogs it's actually easier when the owner isn't visible (they're less likely to perform anxiety), but you're always welcome.
Yes — $25 standalone, but only when I'm already in your neighborhood for another appointment. Subscribe to my standing route updates and I'll let you know when I'm within walking distance.
I don't groom cats. I love them, but cats have very specific grooming needs that deserve a feline specialist. Happy to recommend the wonderful Linda at Whiskers + Wash if that's what you need.
Yes, after their second round of DHPP boosters (usually around 12 weeks). Earlier is better for socialization. We'll keep the first visit short and treat-paced.
I'll always assess in person. Light matting can usually be brushed out (no charge). Severe matting that's painful to remove gets a humane shave-down — I'd rather your dog go home short than spend hours in distress. I'll never charge extra for "tough cases" without telling you first.
Card on file at booking, charged on completion. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, Venmo all welcome. Cash also fine. No deposit required for any visit.
24-hour notice is appreciated but not required. Sick-pup or surprise-vet cancels are always free. Last-minute cancels for non-medical reasons get a soft reminder, but no fee unless it becomes a pattern.
